Regular Services at St John’s
You are warmly invited to join us for worship at St John the Evangelist, Soldiers Hill.
Whether you come every week or are returning after some time away, we welcome you in Christ’s name.
Our worship is reverent, prayerful, and centred on the Holy Eucharist.
Sunday Worship
8.00 am — Holy Eucharist (said service)
A quiet, reflective Eucharist using traditional Anglican liturgy.
9.30 am — Sung Eucharist
Our principal act of worship each Sunday.
This service includes music, hymns, incense on feast days, and a warm sense of community.
Morning tea follows.
Weekday Worship
Tuesday — 4pm Holy Eucharist with Prayers for the Sick
A gentle midweek Eucharist with a short reflection and special prayers for the sick.
Wednesday — 10am Holy Eucharist
A gentle midweek Eucharist with a short sermon.
A helpful way to pause, pray, and be renewed.
Holy Days & Feast Days
We keep major feasts of the Church year with great care and joy, including:
- Christmas
- Holy Week & Easter
- Ascension & Pentecost
- All Saints’ Day
- Patronal Festival (St John the Evangelist)

If you are new or returning, please know that:
- there is no dress code
- you are welcome to receive Communion or a blessing
- children are welcome
- the building is accessible
- there is parking along the street and nearby
